A day in Minneapolis

Today i knew was going to be a beautiful day. It is supposed to be the warmest day of the week and then next week it is supposed to snow! so knowing that it was supposed to be a good day i rented a bicicle. I went on a bike route called the Grand Route. There are several sections of this Route so I picked a nice circle starting at the Downtown Guthrie Theater and the through a row of lakes: Cedar Lake, Lake of the Isles, Lake Calhoun, Lake Harriette, Minnehaha River, LakeNokomis, Lake Hiawatha. Then following the Minnehaha River to the Falls which leads to The Mississippi River to Downtown and the old Mill and the Dam. The Dam is right downtown so I headed home. The Milage is about 25 miles. I spend all morning on the trail. It was awesome. What a excellent way to see the city. Now i have to eat and go to work! Wahoo. :) If you are ever in Minneapolis, I would try this Route. Highly Reccommended!
